La décision a été adoptée par l’Assemblée Générale de l’« AICESIS » à Athènes L’Algérie abritera la prochaine conférence conjointe AICESIS-OIT l’Assemblée Générale de l’Association Internationale des Conseils Economiques et Sociaux et Institutions Similaires (AICESIS) a adopté, aujourd’hui à Athènes, la décision de tenir la prochaine conférence conjointe, organisée en partenariat avec l’Organisation Internationale du Travail (OIT), à Alger. Le président du Conseil National Economique, Social et Environnemental et de l’Union des Conseils Economiques et Sociaux Arabes et Institutions Similaires, le professeur Sidi Mohammed Bouchenak Khelladi qui prend part aux travaux de cette réunion s’est dit honnoré du choix porté sur l’Algérie pour abriter cette conférence et a exprimé la disposition de son Conseil à œuvrer au bon déroulement et à la réussite de cette manifestation.
Furthermore, and on the sidelines of the work of the General Assembly, the President of the CNESE, in addition to the Secretary General of AICESIS, met his counterparts from several member countries of the association, including in particular the presidents of the economic and social councils of the Russian Federation, Portugal, Monaco, Niger, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin and Mauritania and he spoke with each of them on the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation. It should be recalled that the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS), founded in July 1999, today brings together more than seventy members from four continents (Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe) . It aims to promote dialogue and the exchange of experience and good practices between its members, and, more broadly, to encourage dialogue between economic and social partners around the world.
