Algiers June 12, 2022 – Under the patronage of the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Algeria is hosting the Extraordinary General Assembly of the League of Arab Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions, on June 20, 2022 at the International Conference Center (CIC) - Abdelatif Rahal - from Algiers. In addition to Algeria, high-level delegations representing the Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions of Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, Mauritania, Morocco, Yemen, Lebanon, Sudan and Tunisia, will take part in this General Assembly. In addition, the Arab Labor Organization (ATO), partner and supporter of the League of Arab Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions, will be represented by its Director General. This extraordinary session will see the election of the new President of the League of Arab Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions as well as the adoption of its action plan for the period 2022-2025.
